It's Been a WHILE!

Sorry to everyone that takes time to view my little blog...life has been up and down for a while and I have been a bit busy. I am no longer working, but I am enrolled in a Medical Assistant program and will have my diploma July14, 2013...YAY! More to come on that as I venture through...so I will post a few pictures of my munchkins so that you can see how beautiful they are getting...

That about wraps up the last few months! Aurelia said her first word on her birthday..."Baby" and she took her first steps 10 days later on Audrey's 10th birthday...July was a pretty special time!

Ok....so some of you know that I am into crafty type projects...(I can actually hear my husband's eyes rolling in their sockets right now) I am a jack of all trades and a master of few (NOT NONE..yay me) when it comes to a lot of the things I have tried. While recently donating some of Audrey's clothing to a family in need, someone asked me why I don't just save what I really like for Aurelia. Well.....they are nine years apart and that is a lot of clothing to be kept in a house with almost ZERO storage. So there is the answer short and sweet.

BUT...I had a brilliant idea the other day (thanks to Pintrest and Etsy...two my my Favorite sites) Why not take some of Audrey's shirts and convert them into Creepers or Shortalls....Audrey is a skinny-mini so her shirts just might be small enough to do so! Ok....now one problem....HOW THE HECK DO I DO THIS.....well I searched and searched....and found this Awesome lady's tutorial!

I just have to figure out the Neck part....I am not comfortable with that just yet.

As soon as I have a completed project....I will post a pic...Who knows...I may be coming into some free time soon anyway since I am contemplating leaving my job...but that is a whole different story! And maybe...just maybe I can squeeze in that Nursing Degree I have been trying to get forever!

They See me Crawling....

YES!!!!!! Our little Sweet-Pea has finally figured out that crawling is so much more fun than lying around waiting for someone to pick her up! I was truly getting worried that my munchkin was not reaching this milestone (crazy mother-hen here) But alas, she started the full fledge crawl last weekend. I would cry, but you wouldn't see it, so the dramatics would be lost in translation.

I would have written back then, but I have been sick, and Aurelia was too. In fact I am still a bit croupy, but it is nothing too bad that I can't handle it. I definitely will snap a few mid-crawl poses and past them to this post soon. Anyway....I must get back to that thing called work...later ladies and gents!

We have a "Tween!"

Ummmm...so if any of you have kids, I am sure you will sympathize with me! Audrey, my beautiful first born daughter has turned into what I sometimes refer to as "The Devil Child" I know, I know...you all think she is such a sweet, mild mannered , brown haired beauty but WHOA NELLY....she can phase from that child in approximately 2.5 seconds into what many of us remember as "The Exorcist"

The person who gets to see this side the most is my poor husband. Even though Audrey is a Daddy's girl to the end of time, that girl sure gives Todd a run for his money. So, some less fortunate children might be receiving some really nice toys here soon, because beating your child is against the law (and we wouldn't do that anyway!) so we have had to come up with some solution to get this little chickie back on the straight and narrow.

I would say stay silly....but at this point in time....Staying Sane is where I would like to be most!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Well it has finally arrived..2012! It seemed like 2011 zipped by and I barely noticed it happening. In 2011 I slacked on a few things and I accomplished a few things....school went by the wayside but it was for a good cause....I had a beautiful baby girl (Aurelia) And of course I can list that as a major accomplishment! I have made some new friends and lost some others...I learned how to knit with a loom and sew a few things as well. I also learned that Couponing is FABULOUS! All in all 2011 wasn't that bad.

And Gadget Update here.....as mentioned in an earlier blog...I wanted a Kindle Fire (THANKS DAD) cause he is awesome and got me one. Todd got me a SUPER AWESOME camera for Christmas too....and well I am toying around with the idea of doing some on location photography when I get back in the swing of taking pictures. AND....I got the iPhone 4s (I will thank myself on that one ) haha

I am trying to get back in a normal routine....Aurelia was pretty sick during the Christmas break and I haven't fully recovered sleep wise :(   Once I do....I am going to try to revamp this blog and get more stuff added to it! But for now....
